If you've been looking for a reason to get out more with your beloved animal, here it is. During the month of September, commit to walking just 1-mile per day for 30 days with them and help save lives in the process. It's a win-win.
WALK YOUR LAST MILE WITH US: Join us on Sunday, September 27th with your pup(s) at Big Barn for your last mile. Anyone interested will come together to walk the 1.06 mile trail at our shelter in Salem, Wisconsin with other participants and our shelter dogs. Immediately following our afternoon walk, we will have refreshments and a light lunch. Big Barn sits on 70 beautiful acres and you and your pup will definitely enjoy this final mile together.

STEP 1: Register you and your pup(s). You each will receive a special gift as a thank you for your participation.
STEP 2: Create your individual fundraising page. Be creative! There is a minimum $100.00 fundraising goal.
STEP 3: On September 1st commit to a minimum of 1-mile per day with your pup. You can do this by walking, running, hiking, or any other way you and your pup prefer.
STEP 4: Track your miles through the WoofTrax app (optional).
STEP 5: Share your progress through photos and videos with your friends and family and encourage them to donate to your fundraising page.
STEP 6: Keep up the great work each day through September 30th. You and your pup are going to have so much fun and quality time together.
Ways to win & prizes
There are three ways to win Walks & Wags.
1. Be our top fundraiser
2. Walk the most miles with your pup between September 1st and September 30th. All miles will be tracked through the WoofTrax app.
3. Complete our special "Walks & Wags" bingo card and post to social media to be eligible. One person will be randomly chosen as the winner. This card will contain different "selfie" opportunities for you and your pup.
We have some amazing prizes available for our participants and winners.
The first 30 people to register will receive a 100% Pure Eye Mask or Caffeine Eye Cream.
Register by August 25th and you'll receive FIVE extra miles added to your final total.

Why participate?
ALIVE Rescue has saved over 2,330 animals since it's inception. With the addition of the shelter, Big Barn, the number of lives we save has increased tremendously. Soon, you will begin to see many more medical and behavioral cases in our care. Donations raised from our 4th Annual Walks & Wags will help cover the vital medical and training funds these animals will need.
Benefits of participating
You will be receiving a special "Walks & Wags" gift to use on your 1-mile walks and your pup will be sporting our "Walks & Wags" bandana.
