About The Giving Table

On November 1, 2025, when the federal government halted SNAP benefits for 41 million Americans, countless children, seniors, people with disabilities, unhoused neighbors, and hard-working families suddenly faced an empty table.

At ALIVE Rescue, we couldn’t stand by. We know that when people struggle, their pets struggle too — and we’re here for both. That’s why we launched The Giving Table, a community-powered effort to bring food, supplies, and hope to those most affected.

Serving Southeast Wisconsin (Kenosha County and Milwaukee) and Chicago, we collect essential food and supplies and deliver them to our trusted pantry partners — organizations that are currently helping feed over 17,000 people each month.

When support fades, community steps forward.

Together, we can make sure no table is empty — and no family, human or animal, is forgotten.

How You Can Help

Donate Food & Supplies
Drop donations off directly with our partners (see list below) — or bring them to our ALIVE Rescue locations:

We’ll ensure your donations reach families who need them most (please only donate items on our approved lists shown below).
 

Give Financially
Make a monetary donation to The Giving Table Fund. Your contribution lets us purchase the most-needed items quickly and efficiently.  Monthly donations make the biggest difference — but every dollar feeds hope.
