The money you raise at ALIVE Rescue's Strikes for Strays will help homeless animals!
Join other animal lovers on November 6th from 12:30-3 pm at Guttormsen Recreation Center in Kenosha, Wisconsin and bowl for homeless dogs, cats, and rabbits who need you. Not only will you be helping to save lives, but you can also compete for some amazing prizes.

Help homeless pets bowl a strike!
How? Bowl for the homeless animals of ALIVE Rescue! Your admission includes two hours of bowling, shoe rental, an incredible raffle, a vegetarian/vegan food buffet and dessert (there will also be food available for purchase). Tickets are $50.00 in advance and $55.00 at the door.

ALIVE Rescue is currently building a new shelter in Salem, Wisconsin called The Big Barn. Once open, this 4,800 square foot facility will house up to thirty dogs and puppies at a time. The Big Barn will have two whelping rooms for pregnant and nursing dogs, a retirement room for any dogs needing long-term housing, two specially-designed suites for dogs experiencing behavior issues, 16 regular dog suites, a grooming room, and large indoor play areas to use during inclement weather. Additionally, because ALIVE Rescue will have a full-time staff member on-site, they will be able to provide 24-hour care to dogs with medical needs. The Rescue House will be located steps away from The Big Barn and will offer individual sleeping rooms where dogs can rest with a volunteer/staff member monitoring them throughout the night.
Funds raised at Strikes for Strays will go directly to help complete construction of this facility.
Jade, a paralyzed dog with terminal cancer saved by ALIVE Rescue, enjoying a day at The Big Barn prior to us breaking ground. She spent her last birthday surrounded by all of her favorite people running around the fields in her cart with the biggest smile on her face. Once open, The Big Barn will be able to host other dogs just like Jade.
