About The Project
We launched our first edition coloring book, Rescue In Place, during the height of COVID. At a time of isolation, when all of our events were forced to be cancelled, we turned to creative ways to help raise donations. After a four year hiatus, we are excited to launch our second edition coloring book, Colors of Rescue. This coloring book will feature approximately 40 rescued animals (dogs, cats and creatures) including some popular ALIVE Rescue animals. The best part...YOUR ANIMAL can be included in this amazing project.
Click the "Submit My Animal" link below to get started. Submission deadline is December 31, 2024 or until we sell out, whichever comes first. Estimated print date is set for the first quarter of 2025.
SAMPLE INSIDE PAGES
Recognize this cover girl?
It’s none other than our sanctuary girl Root Beer! When we decided to create another coloring book filled with rescue animals, we could not think of a better rescue to grace the cover.
Root Beer came to ALIVE Rescue as part of a hoarding case in Chicago where almost 50 dogs were living in one home. She survived parvo after coming into our rescue and was adopted and returned twice due to severe behavior issues. She is now living her best life at Big Barn as one of our sanctuary dogs.
Root Beer is a special girl whose personality is more colorful than her cover. We are so excited to share stories like hers and other rescued animals in our “Colors of Rescue” coloring book.
