In July of 2024, we added four cat suites to Big Barn. Since adding these suites, ALIVE Rescue has been able to increase the number of cats and kittens we saved by 200% compared to the previous year.  By adding four additional cat suites at Big Barn, ALIVE Rescue will be able to increase the number of cats and kittens we save by 400% compared to last year.

These additional cat suites are vital to our mission in order to help our local high-kill rescue partners.

Did you know from January 1st through October 31st, 2024, our two local partners (Chicago Animal Care and Control - CACC & Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission _ MADACC) have collectively euthanized 2,269 cats and kittens?
